Lois Olneylois olney live at Clancy's, Fremantle, 3/12/2014

Lois Olney and the All Starrs will be performing next at this year's State of the Art Festival at the Perth Cultural Centre on May 30th.

Lois and Anugraha drew a standing ovation at the Maternal Child and Family Health Nurses Conference on April 11th in the Ballroom at the Crown complex. There was a video on before the performance about mothers and children of Roebourne, Lois' birth country, which led nicely into a short bracket of Summertime, Cry Me a River and Lois' original Sisters. The crowd were on their feet and there was hardly a dry eye in the room, and there seemed to be at least a thousand people there.

We hope to get hold of the video soon and put it up on YouTube.

Lois and Anugraha performed at the Fremantle Arts Centre on Friday the 13th of March at the launch of The Starlight Hotel Choir's second album. The launch was put on by St. Patrick's Community Support Centre as part of it's charitable program to help the homeless.

Although it rained there was a big audience there and some nice music through the evening.

Lois Olney and the All Starrs had a great gig at Clancy's Fish Pub in Fremantle on Wednesday, the 3rd of December, 2014. There was a solid and highly appreciative turn-out to see Lois display her uniquely beautiful voice in a variety of settings. John McBain from ANTaR was MC and the accompanying musicians included Josie Boyle, Lucky Oceans, Dave Johnson, Anugraha, Bill Rogers, Angus Diggs, Peter Harper, Jean Guy Lemire, Mike Burns and Phoebe Corke playing some lovely violin.

The event was also an opportunity for Central TAFE students to film it as part of an ongoing youth media film project, with film-makers Ross McCallum and John McBain, on Lois' life story, and also as the basis for a DVD.

Ross lives in Beaconsfield as do Lois and several others involved in the production. He is also the Co-ordinator of Mass Communications at The Central Institute of Technology in Perth. John McBain is also a Community Sustainability Consultant, bush poet, gardener and environmental designer. John maintains a Community Garden in South Perth, Western Australia.

We still have 8 copies of the original Red Earth - Blue Sky CDs for sale. Please contact us via our email address if you would like to order one at $30 each. Lois plans to have some new material available early 2015.

Many thanks to all those who came and greeted Lois and the All Starrs with such enthusiasm.
